Anfield boss ready to make moves next month.
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is ready to make significant moves in the January transfer window as he seeks to get his side’s season back on track according to the Daily Mirror.
Rodgers is open to making signings next month, providing they are the right additions, but refused to respond to specific players who have recently been linked with a move to Anfield.
Chelsea pair Fernando Torres and Petr Cech have been heavily linked with a move to the Merseyside outfit though Rodgers would not elaborate on those claims, stating;
“I won’t comment on any player linked to here,”
“My only concentration is working with the group here and if there is a possibility of strengthening in January, we’ll take a look.
“[But] If there’s a possibility to strengthen, we’ll look at that. [However] only at the right type of player.”
Liverpool sit in tenth place in the Premier League after an indifferent start to the season and were also knocked out of the Champions League group stage and could well do with strengthening areas of their under-performing squad.
