Manchester United transfer news
The Uruguay international has been strongly linked with an exit from the Parc des Princes for some time now, having failed to reproduce his best form in Ligue 1 after initially impressing at Napoli.
PSG now seem ready to offload Cavani this January, alerting Arsenal in particular as they continue to pursue the player despite his £50m price tag.
United are also thought to be monitoring the 27-year-old’s situation, though they will bide their time before bidding for him as they hope for an improvement in form from loan signing Radamel Falcao.
With PSG targeting a move for Borussia Dortmund forward Marco Reus, it seems that Cavani is no longer in their plans and will be sold to make way for the in-demand German international in a smart piece of transfer business.
