Anfield side line-up deal to sign Nigerian international.
Liverpool have reportedly offered Fabio Borini in a part exchange deal for Lazio midfielder Ogenyi Onazi according to the the Daily Express.
Anfield boss Brendan Rodgers wants to bring in some added steel to his midfield and is keen on landing 22 year old Nigerian international Onazi who moved to the Stadio Olimpico in 2011.
Liverpool will offer £8m plus Borini in exchange for Onazi and will make up for the loss of the Italian international by looking to welcome in Lille striker Divock Origi in January, who has been loaned back to the Ligue 1 side on a season long loan deal.
Onazi is not a regular in Lazio’s first team set-up and as such the offer on the table may well tempt the Serie A side.
