Allianz Arena side keen on Bundesliga assist-making machine.
Wolfsburg attacker Kevin De Bruyne has been linked with a surprise move to Bayern Munich according to Sky Sports.
The 23 year old Belgian left Chelsea for Germany in January and is the Bundesliga’s leading assist maker and has apparently caught the attention of run-away leaders Bayern Munich.
De Bruyne’s agent Patrick De Koster has moved to quash such speculation, stating;
“I never said there had been contact with Bayern,”
“There’s been no contact with Bayern at all and no contact with any other club either.
“Kevin has played a great season so far with Wolfsburg and it’s only normal that other clubs are watching him, but nobody has spoken to me.
“I have great respect for Wolfsburg and I thank (director of sport) Klaus Allofs for giving Kevin the chance when he was not in a good situation with Chelsea and could not play.”
De Bruyne is tied down to a lengthy Wolfsburg contract that runs until 2019 and as such it would take a massive fee from Bayern Munich to land the in-form playmaker.
