Bernabeu side plot big money move for Stamford Bridge winger.
Real Madrid are reportedly lining up a £60m bid for Chelsea winger Eden Hazard according to the Daily Star.
This source doesn’t deign to elaborate as to whether the offer is to be made in January or next summer but either way Stamford Bridge boss Jose Mourinho is sure to offer short shrift to bids for the 23 year old Belgian, especially one from his former Bernabeu employers.
Hazard is said to be closing in on a new Blues contract and though the deal hasn’t been signed off it’s worth noting that the former Lille man is currently tied to the west London club until 2017 and as such there is no reason for the Premier League table toppers to consider offers for the player at this juncture.
Chelsea paid Lille £32m for Hazard back in June 2012 and he has proven a massive success since moving to the English top tier, racking up 39 goals and 34 assists in 139 appearances in two and a half seasons, and whilst one can see why Real Madrid would want the tricky flair player this doesn’t seem a move that is likely to come to fruition.
