Anfield side keen on Lille keeper.
Liverpool have been linked with a January move for Nigerian international keeper Vincent Enyeama with the Guardian claiming the Lille man may be a Brendan Rodgers target.
The 32 year old would cost the Anfield side £4m and would certainly represent an improvement on error prone Belgian Simon Mignolet.
Last term Enyeama racked up 11 straight clean sheets in Ligue 1 and is an experienced campaigner who could offer Rodgers a cost effective option between the sticks.
Liverpool have struggled at the back, badly. No top-half team has conceded more than the Merseyside outfit, and Rodgers could invest in a new addition or two in January to help alleviate the problem.
Other keeper that have been linked include Fiorentina’s Brazilian Neto, fellow Serie A stopper Mattia Perin and Stoke City no.1 Asmir Begovic.
Enyeama is 32-years-old, and has won 95 caps for his country.
