GK) David De Gea, 7

The keeper didn’t have much to do, despite periods of Yeovil pressure. He will be happy to have not made any mistakes when called upon.

RWB) Rafael, 5

Taken off at half time in part due to a change of system, but his first half performance will not have helped the situation.

LWB) Luke Shaw, 5

Similar situation to Rafael, Shaw is beginning to look very expensive at £31 million.

CB) Tyler Blackett, 6

Shifted to left-back part way through the match, and was okay during the times when Yeovil pushed for an equaliser.

CB) Chris Smalling, 5

Didn’t look totally at ease against what were League One attackers, but will be happy with the clean sheet.

CB) Paddy McNair, 6

The youngster moved to right-back at half time, and will be satisfied with his performance, although it was not spectacular.
