Arsenal could be set to miss out on one of their top managerial targets to replace Arsene Wenger as Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola is lined up for a reunion with his old club Barcelona, according to Fichajes.net.

The Spanish tactician only left the Nou Camp in 2012, joining Bayern a year later and leading them to the Bundesliga title in his first campaign in charge of the club.
Guardiola enjoyed immense success in his four seasons in charge of Barca, winning three La Liga titles and two Champions League trophies in that time as he established himself as one of the best managers in the world.
Now thought to be an ambitious target for Arsenal to replace Wenger in the future, Guardiola may in fact return to his old club, where he also spent the vast majority of his playing career.
Luis Enrique is currently struggling with the Catalan giants after taking over in the summer, and several big-name replacements have been linked with the job.
