Netherlands star is expected to leave Galatasaray this month and Manchester United have been given a huge boost in their pursuit.
Dutch legend Wesley Sneijder has seen a change in the top club favourite for his signature this month, putting Manchester United on red alert and ahead of Serie A giants Juventus, reports the Daily Star.

Juventus were initially favourites for the Galatasaray midfielder’s signature, but have now set their sights on Henrikh Mkhitaryan of Borussia Dortmund, opening the door for the Red Devils to make a move with the Italian giants looking elsewhere.
Despite spending £150m in the summer, the Manchester United midfield is seriously lacking creativity – even with the likes of Juan Mata, Wayne Rooney, Angel Di Maria, and Ander Herrera in the side – which was none more so evident that in yesterday’s defeat to Southampton when not a single shot was mustered on target by Van Gaal’s men.
