Harry Redknapp is facing the sack at Loftus Road, with the Queens Park Ranger boss needing a result against Manchester United to keep his job, according to the Mirror.

The relegation candidates are yet to register a single away point this season, and have been relying on their stellar home form up until now. They have begun to struggle at home recently too however, and even the fantastic form of star striker Charlie Austin hasn’t been able to help.

Faith was being kept with Redknapp, but losses against League one side Sheffield United in the FA Cup and fellow relegation strugglers Burnley have put him under pressure.

QPR owner Tony Fernandes is allegedly considering a change in management, with defeat against Manchester United on Saturday likely to see Redknapp out of a job.

Tim Sherwood is believed to be top of the list to replace him, with the ex-Spurs boss currently without a club.
