Gunners boss says he’s a huge fan of Colombian goal-poacher.
With news that Arsenal are being linked as surprise contenders to sign Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao, it is worth remembering that Arsene Wenger has previously given a glowing account of the Colombian international.

Falcao Arsenal – Gunners monitor unsettled striker
According to the Sunday Times, Arsenal are among the sides chasing the unsettled 28-year-old, along with Liverpool and Manchester City, as his future at Old Trafford looks uncertain.
Falcao has not hit his best form since joining United on loan from AS Monaco, but has shown himself to be a world class performer in previous years, with Wenger lauding him as one of the best in the world along with Edinson Cavani.
“Both of them are animals,” Wenger told Bein Sport back in 2013.
“I think Cavani is a bit more mobile, and makes more runs off the ball, and Falcao is a bit more of a box player, a bit more of a killer than Cavani.
“But both of them, I love. And honestly, not to protect one or the other, but it’s very difficult to make a difference between the two.”
