Bundesliga giants prepare surprise striker move.
Wolfsburg have been linked with a bid to sign unsettled Everton striker Romelu Lukaku, just one season after the Belgian joined the Toffees on a permanent deal from Chelsea.
According to the Daily Star, the German side are keen to continue strengthening their attack after raiding Stamford Bridge for Andre Schurrle this winter, and Lukaku is one of their top targets.
The 21-year-old, widely regarded as one of the most promising young strikers in Europe, has not been at his best at Goodison Park this season, perhaps showing why Jose Mourinho was right to sell him, despite so much criticism at the time.
Lukaku could also join another former Chelsea team-mate in Kevin De Bruyne if he does move to Wolfsburg.
