Gunners join chase for in-form Champions League goal-getter.
Liverpool will face competition from Arsenal and Juventus for the signing of Shakhtar Donetsk striker Luiz Adriano, according to the Metro.
The Brazilian has been in superb form for the Ukranian giants of late, showing himself to be one of the most lethal finishers in this season’s Champions League with nine goals in just five appearances.
The 27-year-old has been with Shakhtar since 2007 and looks a much-improved player in recent times, with top clubs now circling as he could be available on a free transfer next January.
£7.5m may be enough to sign him now, and Arsenal’s search for a striker has seen them join Liverpool in pursuing this exciting talent.
