A few weeks ago, Kuri rescued a fan in Guadalajara after a game against Chivas. The girl had got lost and missed her bus back so Fidel Kuri picked her up in his private jet.
Last weekend he was up to his old tricks as once again he become the ‘hero’ of a group of fans who struggled on the road.
After the Veracruz’s 3-0 win against Atlas last weekend several fans became stranded after their bus broke down. Recalling Kuri’s actions from a few weeks earlier, the fans once again reached out to the team’s owner, and as soon as he heard he immediately sent them another bus to ‘rescue’ them and bring them back home safely.
“Have a good trip my fellow sharks”, he tweeted after the incident. ‘Sharks’ is Veracruz’s nickname.
