So if the Arsenal side that last played in Manchester – where they beat City 2-0 – turn up, and not the team that lost to Monaco so convincingly, then Arsene Wenger’s team should sail through to the semi-final.
United have struggled in the cup this season, with poor performances at Yeovil and Cambridge behind them. They should finally be put out of their misery on Monday.
