Whenever the international breaks comes round, fans everywhere hold their breath ans pray that their players return unscathed…unfortunately that rarely happens and it appears Aaron Ramsey has given the Gunners a injury scare.
The Arsenal midfielder was replaced in the 85th minute of Wales’ 3-0 win against Israel in their 2016 European Championships qualification fixture on Saturday and looked to be suffering from yet another muscle injury which has disrupted his season.
Ramsey is only recently back from a spell out of the Gunners side after picking up a hamstring problem against Leicester City last month and looked to be rediscovering his best form, scoring two goals in his last three at club level and was superb against Israel for his national side.
After opening the scoring with a looping header on the stroke of half-time, he then turned provider for Gareth Bale in the second half in a comfortable win.
News of this injury scare will no doubt be of concern to Arsene Wenger who still has to discover the extent of Danny Welbeck’s knee problemthat has ruled him out of England’s game against Italy on Tuesday.
Here is how a selection of Arsenal fans have reacted to the news on Twitter:
Ramsey’s injury still needs explaining. His body stance shouldn’t have made him get that injured. Just unreal

Welbeck: 1 goal and 1 assist – Subbed off due to injury. Ramsey: 1 goal and 1 assist – Subbed off due to injury

Hope Ramsey was subbed off as a precautionary measure, rather than a real injury. ????
