The Baggies are on the look-out for replacements as they will consider selling Victor Anichebe in the summer whilst they also believe that Saido Berahino could become the subject of a highly contested bidding war according to Daily Star.

33-year-old striker Lambert has made only eight starts this season for the Reds with 15 of his 23 appearances coming from the bench since his summer move from Southampton.

The boyhood Liverpool fan turned down a loan move to Aston Villa in the January window says the Star in order to fight for his place in the Liverpool side and Tim Sherwood is very unlikely to revive the interest Paul Lambert showed in the striker.

The star also claims that Liverpool are prepared to sell Lambert for £4 million which would cut their losses incredibly short considering they signed Lambert for the same fee, according to the BBC plus a number of add-ons.
