The Barmy Army flat out refused to get involved in a Mexican wave during England’s game with Italy at the Juventus Stadium on Tuesday evening which saw the two sides play out a 1-1 draw.

In that wonderfully St. Georgian way, as the wave swept ever closer to the away section of the ground, some Three Lions fans decided to simply remain looking miserable with their arms folded whilst others decided to flick Vs and tell the wave itself to ‘fuck off’.
So beautiful it almost drew a tear to CaughtOffside‘s eye because let’s not pull punches, Mexican waves might be one of the worst things ever instituted at football matches.
Though perhaps it was the inherent English-ness of the reaction that makes this video so glorious.
This might be the most representative clip of our great nation since Hugh Grant’s Prime Ministerial speech in Love Actually and this time it doesn’t even involve David Beckham!
