The Turkey captain was travelling back from his team’s 1-2 victory over Luxembourg, and the crew let him use the onboard PA system to congratulate his teammates. He was pictured sitting in the pilot’s chair in the cockpit and this is what has particularly upset Turkish aviation officials.

With safety concerns heightened in the wake of the recent plane crash over the Alps as well as a host of other incidents, the Civilian Aviation Directorate was not impressed with what the 28-year-old was allowed to do. The cabin crew could now face sanctions from the authorities for their role in the error as no one except from the crew is supposed to be let into the cockpit.
