Chelsea vs Manchester United: Five memorable league clashes at Stamford Bridge

2) Chelsea 2-3 Manchester United – 28/10/12

A brilliant game for the neutrals to watch and United last victory against the West London outfit.

The Red Devils were in total control of the opening stages and raced into a two-goal lead after just 12 minutes thanks to a David Luiz own goal and a Robin van Persie strike.

But the hosts rallied, Juan Mata pulled one back just before the break with a stunning free-kick, then Ramires equalised early in the second half.

But the game changed drastically as they were reduced to nine-men in a crazy five-minute spell.

Branislav Ivanovic saw a straight red, while Fernando Torres was sent-off for two bookable offences.

Then to make matters even worse Javier Hernandez poked home the winner from close range despite looking suspiciously offside.
