Referee Michael Oliver decided not to give a foul, or issue a card to Ospina, for the coming together which left Chelsea’s Brazilian midfielder prone on the floor of the Gunners’ box after Hector Bellerin scrambled the ball off the line.
The decision left Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho somewhat unhappy and will likely add further fuel to his argument of the supposed Premier League campaign against his side, who look destined to lift the Premier League title.
A win today, followed up by another three points in midweek against Leicester will see the Blues win their first league title since 2010 and follow up the Capital One Cup victory to cap off a relatively successful season for Chelsea – despite their last-16 Champions League exit at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain.
