The uncertainty over the Italy international’s career has led to transfer speculation linking him with a move away from Laurent Blanc’s side.

The 32-year-old has attracted some of the biggest clubs in Europe; Le 10 Sport report that Real Madrid coach and former PSG boss Carlo Ancelotti is a long-term admirer of the player and would be keen to have the midfielder in his squad once again.

However, Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini is also keen to bring the former Nerazzurri star back to the Giuseppe Meazza.

Speaking to Calciomercato, Motta’s agent Alessandro Canovi has confirmed that there have been no discussions with Inter, but admitted that the player was yet to sign a new deal with the PSG.

“With Inter, there’s nothing,” Canovi began, “I haven’t yet spoken to the Parisians. Everything is pushed back to the end of the season.”

The midfielder has featured 26 times for Paris in Ligue 1 so far this season, contributing two assists. He has enjoyed an influential role in the heart of the midfield as Blanc’s side have sought to regain their French crown.

With two matches remaining they hold a six-point lead over Olympique Lyonnais.
