Theo Walcott scored a deflected effort to draw Arsenal equal with Manchester United on Sunday.
The Gunners had earlier gone behind after some poor defending allowed Ander Herrera to volley home from an Ashley Young cross. Several defenders went to challenge Marouane Fellaini for the ball only to see it go over them and fall at the feet of the Spaniard, who was completely unmarked at the back post.
The North London club were in disarray afterwards, but managed to get themselves together after bringing on Walcott and Jack Wilshere. The former scored after causing Tyler Blackett problems with several stepovers before attempting to fire in a cross. The ball hit the Englishman’s shin, totally wrong footing goalkeeper Victor Valdes. The 33-year-old had only come on for the injured David De Gea moments earlier.
Having not won in the Premier League at Old Trafford for nine years, the Gunners now have a chance. Can they nick a late winner against the Red Devils?
