The Colombian international was highly regarded in his time at previous club Fiorentina, becoming established as one of the best attacking players in Serie A and arguably Europe.

However, he has struggled for playing time since moving to Chelsea in the middle of this season, mainly being on the bench behind Brazilian midfielder Willian.

It may now be that Barcelona will try to rescue the 26-year-old from his hellish time in the Premier League, with the Metro stating that they are ready to try their luck with an offer.

The Catalan giants could do with a new signing at right wing-back as Dani Alves looks set to quit the club, and Cuadrado can play as an attack-minded full-back on either side, as he has done at several points in his career.
