The Red Devils only signed Di Maria from Real Madrid last summer, but it is known that the player himself was keen on a move to PSG at the time, only for Financial Fair Play regulations to prevent the French giants from completing the transfer.
Still, PSG are now looking set to come back in for the 27-year-old this year, with the former Benfica man struggling to establish himself in his first season in the Premier League.
Di Maria’s form has been a real concern for United, and it may be that they will now be tempted to cash in on the player while they still can.
Louis van Gaal has already moved to sign Memphis Depay from PSV, and the Dutch starlet could be an ideal replacement if The Sun‘s report of PSG’s imminent bid is true.
