Manchester United could try their luck with an interesting swap bid to sign one of their top targets from Paris Saint-Germain, offering Javier Hernandez in exchange for Marquinhos.
The Red Devils have long been tracking the young Brazilian centre-back, who looks exactly what Louis van Gaal needs to improve his side’s questionable defensive record this summer.
Still, the 21-year-old will not come cheap and it has been rumoured that PSG will hold out for mad sums of money for the player, possibly more than £40m.
This could be too much for United, but the offer of Hernandez in return may be tempting, with PSG possibly parting ways with Edinson Cavani at the end of this season and in need of more options up front.
The Mexican international has been on loan at Real Madrid this season, and Fichajes.net reports that he may now be on his way to the French capital after failing to earn a permanent move to the Bernabeu.
