When it was 3-3 after 60 minutes many even thought the Reds would win in normal time. However, the Serie A giants didn’t get completely swept away and held on for penalties, where Jerzy Dudek would complete the win with some unorthodox goalkeeping. None of it would have been possible without their legendary captain though.
