Manchester United ‘to HIJACK Arsenal’s bid to sign world class striker’

United join chase for top Gunners target.

Manchester United are being tipped to hijack Arsenal‘s deal to sign Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema before the end of the summer.

The Red Devils are also in need of world class quality up front after losing big names in Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao earlier in this transfer window, with Wayne Rooney badly struggling to reach top form.

Louis van Gaal’s side are being linked with a whole host of established stars at the moment, including Barcelona’s Neymar and Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale.

Still, Benzema would be another fine option for the club to consider, and though he is thought to be closing in on a move to Arsenal, United still hope they can do what Chelsea did to them with Pedro and make a late move to snap him up ahead of their rivals, according to the Daily Star.
