Manchester United supporters FUME at speculation linking James Wilson with loan switch

News of James Wilson‘s proposed loan move away from Manchester United before the transfer window closes has provoked a strong reaction from a number of the club’s supporters on social media.

The 19-year-old has been linked with a potential season-long loan move to either Tottenham Hotspur or West Brom in a bid to receive regular first-team football as he has not made any of the match-day squads in United’s first six games of the new campaign.

Wilson netted a brace on his first league start for the Red Devils towards the end of the 2013-14 season against Hull City, however, he started just two games in the league last year under new manager Louis van Gaal and could only register two goals in all competitions.

With Javier Hernandez completing his move to Bayer Leverkusen on Monday, it leaves van Gaal with just Wayne Rooney as his only centre-forward option and supporters have voiced their disbelief at the prospect of Wilson being allowed to leave on deadline day:
