Van Gaal will be delighted as free transfer close to completion.
Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes is reportedly in talks over quitting the club already for a free transfer back to La Liga with Sevilla.
The Spanish shot-stopper, who was a star player at Barcelona, winning the Champions League three times, has not been at his best since a career-threatening injury.
Valdes is now unable to break into Louis van Gaal’s first-team plans, and has notably fallen out with the Dutch tactician for allegedly not agreeing to play in Reserve team matches.
