Chelsea have been made favourites to prize star striker Wayne Rooney away from Manchester United, according to the Metro.
The Metro states that The Blues are in the market for a new striker and that Sky Bet are offering low odds on Rooney being the man to shore up their front line.
The England international has been in miserable form so far this term, finding the net just twice in the Premier League so far, but that hasn’t stopped Sky Bet from linking him with a number of top clubs dotted all across Europe.
While Chelsea are the clear frontrunners, Everton (10/1), Paris Saint-Germain (10/1), Arsenal (20/1) and Tottenham Hotspur (20/1) are all believed to be interested as well.
However, while Chelsea are said to be favourites amongst the chasing pack, it is worth noting that the bookmakers also have Rooney staying at United set at 1/5.
