Man United in danger of missing out on two high-profile transfer targets; Liverpool make £10.5m bid for wonderkid

Manchester United risk missing out on both Lucas Biglia and Leroy Sane during the January transfer window.

The Red Devils have been linked to both players in recent weeks, with Louis van Gaal expected to move for both men in the New Year.

However, they are not alone in admiring both players, and face stiff competition if they are to recruit either man.

Biglia was courted during the summer, but despite moving for Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin, LVG appears to remain keen on the Lazio playmaker.

However, according to Calciomercato [via the Daily Express], Real Madrid are also eyeing the Argentine international—a prospect that may prove too tempting for Biglia to ignore.

Similarly, United’s hopes of recruiting wonderkid Sane have been dealt a blow by the news that Jurgen Klopp wants the 19-year-old forward at Liverpool.
