Chelsea gossip: Terry faces missing Spurs clash but midfield starlet continues to be scouted

Wednesday’s sweep of the biggest Chelsea headlines.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho and striker Diego Costa were involved in a dressing room bust up during the half time break of their Champions League victory over Maccabi Tel Aviv on Tuesday night, the Metro reports.

The two clashed because Mourinho felt that the striker wasn’t making the correct runs during the first half, but insists that they made up with a few “kisses and cuddles”.

“I wanted him to do a certain movement that he didn’t,” explained Mourinho. “I was disappointed and I reacted. He did too.

“At half-time in the dressing room, a few kisses and a few cuddles. No problem.”

The agent of Bologna midfielder Amadou Diawara has confirmed that Chelsea are planning to make a move for the player in January, the Daily Express reports.

Reports in Italy have claimed that Jose Mourinho has had the 18-year-old scouted on several occasions already this season.

And with Mourinho set to dip into the transfer window a move for there Guinea-born midfielder can be expected.

Jose Mourinho has said that he never felt that his job was in danger despite the club’s tempestuous start to the season, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Blues boss led his side to the title last term and was rewarded with a new long-term deal at Stamford Bridge.

However, his side have lost seven of their opening 13 games to leave them a massive 14 points behind shock leaders Leicester City .

And despite doubt over his position last month, he believes that he was never in danger of getting the chop.

John Terry will likely miss Sunday’s clash with in-form Tottenham after being stretchered off during the victory over Maccabi Tel Aviv, the Daily Star reports.

The 34-year-old was stretchered off during the second half of the 4-0 win on Tuesday, and now faces a scan to determine the extent of the injury.

The Blues could also be without midfielder Ramires, who was also absent after sustaining an injury during training on Monday.
