According to reports in Italy, Valencia forward Sofiane Feghouli is being targeted by Inter Milan.

The Algeria international has been linked with a move to Barcelona in recent weeks, with the player confirming his agent has connections with the club, but is now being eyed by Inter boss Roberto Mancini ahead of a possible move in the New Year.

“My agent has contacts with Barca,” Feghlouli told the Dauphine Libere [as per Le 10 Sport]. “I am coming to the end of my contract and I’ve expressed a desire to stay on at Valencia.”

Feghouli’s current deal at Valencia comes to an end in the summer, and as yet, new Los Che coach Gary Neville is yet to tie the North African attacker down to a new deal.

With the player’s future yet to be settled, Inter Milan are understood to have been alerted to the his availability.

The Nerazzurri—who currently lead Serie A and face Lazio in a high-profile match this weekend—could wait until next summer before signing Feghouli on a free, or may look to liberate him from Valencia in January.
