Crystal Palace striker could miss up to 2 months just weeks after joining from Chelsea

Crystal Palace suffered an injury blow to on-loan striker Loic Remy just weeks after he joined from Chelsea according to the Guardian.

Per the source, Remy could be out for up to two-months after picking up a thigh injury during training.

The French international striker joined the Eagles on a season long loan for a £3 million loan fee with a view to a permanent deal.

Remy spent most of his last two seasons at Chelsea out with injuries which cast him into the fringes.

The 29-year-old striker fell behind the pecking order at Chelsea behind Diego Costa and Michy Batshuayi over the summer which forced him into making the move.

Remy made just three appearances in the Premier League for the Blues last season and played six games in all competitions.

The 29-year-old Chelsea in August 2014, and but scored just 12 goals in 47 appearances in all competitions.
