Watford v Manchester United: Probable lineups, injury updates

Posted by

Watford FC host Manchester United at Vicarage Road in the Premier League’s early fixture today.

The Hornets registered their first win of the season against West Ham United last week and will be looking to add to their tally of four points against United.

Watford have lost their last six matches against the Man United and will be without Brice Dja Djedje with a foot problem, while Craig Cathcart is a major doubt following a groin strain.

Walter Mazzarri’s side have also conceded 16 goals in the last 6 meetings with the Red Devils.

Manchester United will be looking to bounce back from consecutive defeats to Man City and Feyenoord. Jose Mourinho is expected to recall Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who was rested for the Europa League fixture, to the starting lineup today.

The England international left-back Luke Shaw is United’s only injury concern going into their clash with Watford.
