Manchester City eased past Swansea City with a 2-1 victory at the Liberty Stadium to progress to the Fourth Round of the EFL Cup on Wednesday.
Leroy Sane made his first start for City and despite not scoring or providing an assist he did put on a spirited display.
The Germany international joined City from Schalke 04 over the summer and had already made his debut prior to the game but this seas his first 90 minutes.
Sane revealed he was delighted with his first start but it remains to be seen if head coach Pep Guardiola will keep him in the team for the Premier League clash against Swansea over the weekend.
