It’s nice to see Wayne Rooney smiling again. He’s been glum in the last few weeks after being dropped by his club manager Jose Mourinho, and then had to talk solemnly about Sam Allardyce in an England press conference a few days ago. But his spirits have clearly been lifted by a trip to meet his England colleagues.
