Wayne Rooney has pulled one back for Manchester United in their Europa League group game against Fenerbahce this evening.
Jose Mourinho’s side fell two goals down after two moments of individual brilliance from Fenerbahce’s Moussa Sow and Jeremain Lens.
The United and England captain has hit back, to give his side a glimmer of hope that they can rescue a point. What a goal it was too. Rooney received the ball 25-yards from goal, took one look up before firing it emphatically into the Fenerbahce net. Game on.
