Chile star Sanchez bags a beautiful brace four days after being deemed unfit to play for his country.
Arsenal fans were very worried when Alexis Sanchez missed Chile’s 0-0 draw with Colombia last week because of a muscle injury.
With Arsenal taking on Manchester United at Arsenal on Saturday, Gooners were then left biting their nails as Alexis was named as a starter in last night’s World Cup qualifier against Uruguay.
Was he really fit?
Were Chile risking a semi-fit Alexis at Arsenal’s expense?
They need not have worried because Alexis proved that he is in top condition as he destroyed Uruguay, scoring two goals, including his worldie, in a 3-1 win.
