Wayne Rooney scores his 39th European competition goal for Manchester United at Old Trafford on Thursday evening after finding the back of the net against Feyenoord.
The United captain overtook Ruud van Nistelrooy who he was tied on 38 goals with. Rooney became the Red Devils all time leading goal scorer in European competition following the goal.
The England international chipped the ball over the Feyenoord to give United the lead going into the half-time break against the Dutch giants.
