Arsenal were at risk of dropping points against West Ham United on Saturday night, but Alexis Sanchez stepped up and delivered yet again.
The Gunners were a goal to the good against the Hammers at the London Stadium, but they looked a little edgy in the closing stages of the game as Slaven Bilic’s side pushed for an equaliser.
However, Sanchez gave them plenty of daylight after a brilliant first touch gave him some space before he accelerated away from his marker and produced a superb finish to score a wonderful goal.

The Chilean international was on hand to provide an assist for Mesut Ozil for the opening goal of the game, but he wasn’t to be denied as he bagged his 11th goal of the season in all competitions.
Given Chelsea won earlier in the day, it was crucial for Arsenal to respond and Wenger’s side will close the gap back to three points with a win.
