It was a big weekend for Wayne Rooney, who finally scored his 250th Manchester United goal, taking him clear of Bobby Chartlon as the club’s top ever goalscorer.
However, as always with Rooney the discussion of his success lead to a rather less celebratory discussion about his wasted potential.
