Ronaldo believes he could be a great addition in midfield.
Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly pushing for Real Madrid to seal the transfer of Tottenham attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen after his superb performance against the Spanish giants.
The Denmark international scored and had an influential game for Spurs as they beat Real 3-1 at Wembley, and Don Balon claim Ronaldo sees him as ideal to bolster Madrid’s midfield.
Despite being so key to Real’s La Liga and Champions League wins last season, Luka Modric and Toni Kroos have not been at their best this year, and were given a masterclass in how to run the show from midfield by Eriksen last night.
As well as scoring the third goal for Tottenham, Eriksen boasted an 84% pass accuracy and had three shots at goal, whilst also managing to complete more tackles than Modric and Kroos combined.
The 25-year-old has improved hugely since he joined Spurs from Ajax back in 2013/14, showing himself to be one of many talented young players to develop their game under Mauricio Pochettino.
It remains to be seen how much longer Tottenham can hold on to their stars like Eriksen, with various recent rumours also linking Harry Kane and Dele Alli with moves away.
