According to The Express, a deadline of Friday has been put in place for the Chilean international to decide on his future and whether or not he wants to move to Old Trafford.
It’s claimed Arsenal want £35m for him which could be steeper than United are willing to go, while there is also a risk noted in the report of how the Gunners could be using Man Utd just to get more money out of City if that is indeed Sanchez’s preferred choice.
The 29-year-old’s contract expires at the end of the season and so he will either leave on a free transfer in the summer or for a fee if Arsenal can cash in this month.
It appears as though Mourinho’s patience is growing thin and he wants an answer, and United fans could get one by the end of this week.
