Video: Aubameyang arrives at Arsenal training ground, priceless reaction from AFC supporters

As per reports, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has arrived at Arsenal’s training ground as he looks set to complete a move to join the Premier League giants before the transfer deadline on Wednesday.

Sky Sports reported on Monday that the 28-year-old was edging ever close to a £60m switch to the Emirates from Borussia Dortmund, and as seen in the video below, they claim that he has now arrived in north London to complete talks with the Gunners.

After seeing Alexis Sanchez leave the club earlier this month, it would have been a major blow for all concerned to lose one of the best players at the Emirates as shown by how important he was for the team last season.

However, Arsene Wenger could be left delighted with how the club have replaced the influential Chilean international if this move materialises with Aubameyang scoring 141 goals in 213 games for the Bundesliga outfit.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan joined the Gunners as part of that swap deal with Manchester United to offer more creativity and technical quality in the final third, and coupled with Aubameyang’s goalscoring threat, he’ll surely have no problem finding the back of the net in an Arsenal shirt with Mesut Ozil also creating chances for him.

In their last season together at Dortmund in the 2015/16 campaign, Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan scored 62 goals and had 44 assists between them.

That statistic alone is undoubtedly enough of a reason for the reaction from some Arsenal supporters below as the news of the Gabon international arriving at the club’s training ground started to filter through…
