Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante has reportedly given his club the message that they are to make a decision over his future amid transfer interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
French outlet Le 10 Sport claims Kante is a top target for PSG, but that he won’t personally push Chelsea to let him go this summer as he leaves it in their hands.
This looks a big relief for the Blues, who already face losing both Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard to Real Madrid, according to RMC.
Kante is another hugely important member of this Chelsea side, and losing him alongside those two would be almost unthinkable for the club as they look to rebuild under new manager Maurizio Sarri.
The Italian tactician has certainly inherited a tricky situation after replacing Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge, with CFC only finishing 5th in the Premier League last season, missing out on Champions League qualification for 2018/19.
Losing Kante would only make things harder, though Chelsea have already moved to sign midfielder Jorginho from Napoli.
It remains to be seen if PSG could find an offer that would persuade the west Londoners to let the France international go at this point.
