Real Madrid make approach over beating Chelsea, Liverpool & Man United to £60million transfer

Real Madrid have reportedly made contact with Borussia Dortmund to enquire about a possible £60million transfer move for Christian Pulisic.

The highly-rated youngster has long been regarded as one of the top up-and-coming talents in the world game, and it looks as though there is plenty of interest in him this summer.

Having just shone for Dortmund in a friendly win over Liverpool, his club may now face a fight to keep hold of Pulisic as Real Madrid look for attacking players after selling Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus.

According to the Daily Mail, Pulisic is one player on their radar as they face difficulties in persuading Chelsea to sell them Eden Hazard.

The report also lists Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United as among the USA international’s admirers, while Barcelona and Bayern Munich also have some interest.

It’s claimed however, that Barca seem to be prioritising trying to sign Willian from Chelsea, whilst also continuing to show their faith in a top young talent of their own in Ousmane Dembele, despite his unconvincing first year at the Nou Camp.

Pulisic, 19, certainly seems destined for the top and could be a decent start for Real as they enter their post-Ronaldo era, even if it’s a lot to ask of a player that age to come in and immediately plug such a big gap at the Bernabeu.

The American could also be a fine replacement for Hazard at Chelsea if things work out that way, and he’d no doubt add quality to both Liverpool and United in that attacking midfield department, though it is arguably the latter more in need of signings in that area, with Jurgen Klopp adding Xherdan Shaqiri to his squad this summer while United are yet to bring in upgrades on the struggling Alexis Sanchez, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford.
