Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has been the subject of a huge bid from Chelsea as the Blues aim to beat Manchester United to the midfielder’s signature.
New Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri could be looking to strengthen his midfield options further in pursuit of the 23-year-old, having already signed Jorginho from former club Napoli this summer.
Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho has also already bolstered his midfield during the transfer window with the acquisition of Brazilian midfielder Fred, however, Milinkovic-Savic could add more attacking flair to United’s current set-up.

The Serbian upstart has attracted the attention of several top European clubs following a stellar year with Lazio last season, during which he scored 12 goals as the Rome based outfit just missed out on a place in the Champions League.
Calcio Mercato reports that Barcelona, Paris Saint Germain and Real Madrid are also all interested in the youngster, but Chelsea have already made a powerful statement with a huge offer to usurp the competition.
According to Calcio Mercato, the Blues have offered 21-year-old midfielder Charly Musonda in exchange, plus a whopping €115million. However, Lazio are holding out for an even large bid in the region of €150million for their most prized asset.
If Chelsea can beat United and other top clubs to this exciting signing it would be a real statement for a club who suffered the blow of finishing outside the Champions League places last season and who may have had cause to worry about being able to continue attracting big names.
