Amid speculation linking him with an exit this summer, Real Madrid ace Luka Modric has appeared on promotional work for the club’s new third kit.

As noted by Calciomercato, it’s been claimed that the 32-year-old is keen on a switch to join Inter this summer as he seemingly eyes a new challenge.

Modric has enjoyed a glittering trophy-laden spell at the Bernabeu, and is set to continue to play a fundamental role under Julen Lopetegui alongside the likes of Toni Kroos and Casemiro.

However, as noted in the report above, it’s been suggested that the midfield maestro could be eyeing a departure, but based on this latest hint from Real Madrid, it would appear as though they don’t expect to see that materialise.

Modric has featured in their promotional work on the new third kit, as seen in the tweet below, which arguably wouldn’t be the case if he was nearing an exit from the club as it would be poor marketing and misleading for the supporters.

Further, we’ve seen on countless occasions when players have been removed from posters ahead of a potential exit, and so either Real Madrid are confident that Modric is going nowhere, or at the very least, a deal is not close to force them to change their sales approach.

Time will tell where the World Cup finalist will be plying his trade next season, but for now, it looks as though he may well remain in the Spanish capital.
